# Carrier management

Carrier management is where you connect and monitor your courier partners.

## Add carriers

Add credentials and service parameters for each active courier.

## Validate before use

Before creating labels at scale:

1. Run a test shipment for each carrier.
2. Confirm expected SLA and service type.
3. Verify failed label fallback behavior.

  Keep at least one alternate carrier active per major service region to reduce downtime risk.
